RSM Clients Impress at 2010 NFL Pro Day Workouts
RSM clients impressed the NFL scouts during their 2010 campus Pro Day workouts. Victor Cruz, Rich Gunnell, Tony Nelson, Jordan Stevens and Paul Mancuso all improved their Draft status with impressive workouts.
Victor Cruz (5’11 7/8”, 208lbs.), a two-time All-CAA wide receiver and punt returner from the University of Massachusetts, ran a 4.47 40-yard dash, a 6.96 3-cone, 4.21 short shuttle, had a 41 1/2” vertical, a 10’5” broad jump and 16 reps on the bench. Victor also impressed the scouts in his positional drills showing excellent hands and crisp route running. He has a workout planned with the New York Giants in early April.
Rich Gunnell (5’11”, 197lbs.), a wide receiver, team captain and team MVP from Boston College, ran a 4.52 40-yard dash, a 6.73 3-cone, a 4.15 short shuttle, had a 30 1/2” vertical, a 9’10” broad jump and 10 reps on the bench. Rich impressed the scouts in his positional drills showing excellent hands and crisp route running. He has a workout planned with the Philadelphia Eagles in early April.
Tony Nelson (5’9 1/4”, 209lbs.), a two-time All-CAA running back from the University of Massachusetts, ran a 4.47 40-yard dash, a 6.62 3-cone, a 4.21 short shuttle, had a 36 1/2” vertical, a 10’4” broad jump and 18 reps on the bench. Tony impressed the scouts in his positional drills showing excellent hands catching the ball out of the backfield.
Jordan Stevens (6’2” 244lbs.), a 2009 team captain, All-CAA linebacker and New England All-Star from the University of Maine, ran a 4.88 40-yard dash, a 7.25 3-cone, a 4.28 short shuttle, had a 34” vertical, a 9’4” broad jump and 24 reps on the bench.
Paul Mancuso (6’2”, 304bs.), a two-time All-Patriot League defensive tackle from Colgate University, ran a 5.18 40-yard dash, a 7.43 3-cone, a 4.65 short shuttle, had a 29 1/2” vertical, a 8’10” broad jump and 32 reps on the bench.
This year, RSM clients received training from Athletic Edge Sports/Pro Combine Training in Bradenton, Florida; Athletic Evolution in Woburn, Massachusetts; and Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning in Winchester, Massachusetts for their Pro Days.
RSM pays for all costs associated with training without seeking reimbursement. Our job is to put our clients in the best possible position come Draft day, and that starts with providing our clients the best pre-Draft training available.
